All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 80 Faculty (Group-A) posts on direct recruitment basis across multiple departments. The vacancies include Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor positions. Eligible candidates with requisite medical or non-medical qualifications along with teaching/research experience can apply online from 4th September 2025 to 24th September 2025. Eligibility Criteria

Education

1. Medical qualification included in Schedule I/II/Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates with Part II qualifications must meet conditions under Section 13(3) of the Act.
2. Postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or equivalent in the relevant discipline/subject.
3. For non-medical candidates, Ph.D. in the relevant subject is required where applicable.

Experience

• Professor: 14 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Additional Professor: 10 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Associate Professor: 6 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Assistant Professor: 3 years of teaching and/or research experience.

Salary

• Professor: Level-14-A (₹1,68,900–2,20,400) + allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (₹1,48,200–2,11,400) + allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+ (₹1,38,300–2,09,200) + allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Assistant Professor: Level-12 (₹1,01,500–1,67,400) + allowances including NPA (if applicable).

Age Limit

• Professor/Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years (as on 24.09.2025).
• Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years (as on 24.09.2025).
  Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹2,360 (including 18% GST).
• SC/ST: ₹1,180 (including 18% GST).
• PwBD: Exempted.
  Payment is to be made via online gateway.
