Agharkar Research Institute (MACS ARI), Pune has released an official notification (Advt. MACS ARI is a premier autonomous research institute under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, known for advanced research in life sciences, bioenergy, paleobiology, and bioinformatics. Salary
- Scientist-E: ₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900 per month

Salary is as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with applicable government allowances.
Age Limit
- Scientist-E: Maximum 45 years
- Scientist-C: Maximum 40 years
- Scientist-B: Maximum 35 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years (additional relaxation for reserved PwBD categories), and Government Servants – up to 5 years as per Central Government norms.

Selection Process
