Air Force Group Insurance Society (AFGIS), an important welfare body under the Indian Air Force, has released a notification inviting applications for 05 permanent posts of Senior Assistant (IT), Junior Assistant, and Motor Car Driver. These vacancies offer a stable government job opportunity in New Delhi with defined pay scales and eligibility norms. Candidates with qualifications in IT, general graduation, or basic matriculation with a valid driving license can apply. The selection will be based on shortlisting and written or skill-based tests. Education

• Senior Assistant (IT): Graduation/Post-Graduation in CS/IT/MCA or PGDCA/A-Level with minimum 50% marks. Must have programming knowledge in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Junior Assistant: Graduate (English medium) with 60% marks or Post Graduate degree. Must be proficient in MS Office and able to type at 30 WPM.
• Motor Car Driver: Matriculation with a valid LMV Driving License.

Salary

• Senior Assistant (IT): ₹25,300/- Basic Pay (Entry Level)
• Junior Assistant: ₹19,800/- Basic Pay (Entry Level)
• Motor Car Driver: ₹19,000/- Basic Pay (Entry Level)

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)

• Senior Assistant (IT): Up to 30 years
• Junior Assistant & Driver: Up to 25 years
• Relaxation: Ex-servicemen may get age relaxation up to 45 years as per rules
