The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the written result for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2025. This recruitment drive was released for 47 posts, including 12 posts under IES and 35 posts under ISS. The applications were accepted from 12 February 2025 to 4 March 2025, and the written examination was conducted from 20 to 22 June 2025 across various exam centers in India. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download their results through the official UPSC website.

IES: Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics. ISS: Bachelor’s degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics or Master’s degree in the same.
For UPSC IES/ISS Bharti 2025, candidates applying for the Indian Economic Service (IES) must have a Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics from any recognized university in India, while candidates applying for the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) must have either a Bachelor’s degree with Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics as a subject, or a Master’s degree in the same fields; the selection process will include a Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview, and all candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully before applying.

Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
On the homepage, go to the Examination section and click on Active Examinations.
Find the link titled “UPSC IES / ISS Written Result 2025” and click on it.
A PDF file containing the roll numbers of selected candidates will open.
Download the PDF and search your roll number using the search function (Ctrl + F).
Save the result for future reference and note down important instructions for the next selection stage.
