This recruitment aims to fill 85 vacancies across various Group A and Group B posts, including Geologists, Geophysicists, Chemists, and Scientists B in Hydrogeology, Chemical, and Geophysics streams. Applications for this examination were accepted from 4 September to 24 September 2024, and the mains examination was conducted on 28–29 June 2025. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary exam and appeared for the mains can now check their results on the official UPSC website. This result shortlists candidates for the final stage, which includes the Personality Test and Interview.
