The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the Answer Key 2026 for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment under CEN No. 01/2025. This is one of the largest railway recruitments with a total of 9970 vacancies for ALP posts across various railway zones in India.
The application process for RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 was conducted from 12 April 2025 to 19 May 2025. The CBT-I examination was held on 13, 16, 17, and 18 February 2026, along with a rescheduled exam in March 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their answer key released on 20 March 2026 to evaluate their expected performance before the next stage.

Educational Qualification & Selection Process
Candidates applying for RRB ALP recruitment must have passed Class 10 with ITI in relevant trade or possess a diploma/degree in engineering from a recognized institution. This makes the recruitment accessible to both technical diploma holders and ITI candidates.
