The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially announced the IIT JAM Result 2026 for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM). This national-level entrance exam is conducted for admission into postgraduate programs such as M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-PhD, and other science-related courses offered by IITs and IISc across India.
The IIT JAM 2026 examination was conducted on 15 February 2026, and thousands of candidates from science backgrounds appeared for this competitive exam. The application process was carried out between 05 September 2025 and 20 October 2025. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check and download their IIT JAM Result 2026 online. The result was officially declared on 19 March 2026.

Educational Qualification & Selection Process
Candidates appearing for IIT JAM 2026 must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science discipline with minimum qualifying marks as prescribed. Final year students were also eligible to appear in the examination.
The selection process is based on an online computer-based entrance examination. Admission to various IITs and IISc is granted based on JAM score, merit list, and subsequent counselling/admission process.
