The State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, has officially released the notification for the recruitment of 6589 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) under its Clerical Cadre for the 2025-26 cycle. This recruitment includes 5180 regular vacancies and 1409 backlog vacancies, making it one of the biggest clerical recruitments of the year. Candidates who have completed graduation or are in their final year/semester (subject to conditions) are eligible to apply. Selection will be made through Preliminary and Main Examinations, followed by a Local Language Test and Document Verification.

A total of 6589 Clerk (Junior Associate) posts will be filled. This includes:

• 5180 Regular Vacancies
• 1409 Backlog Vacancies

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Final-year students can apply, but must produce proof of graduation by 31st December 2025.
• Candidates with dual degrees must ensure their passing date is on or before 31st December 2025.

• Pay Scale: ₹24,050–₹64,480 with standard annual increments and promotions

• Other Benefits: Dearness allowance, HRA, transport, and other perks as per bank rules

Age Limit (as on 01/04/2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Candidates must have been born between 2 April 1997 and 1 April 2005

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Other categories as per government norms
