RPSC SI Vacancy 2025: Online Applications Begin For 1000+ Sub-Inspector And Platoon Commander Posts
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has opened fresh recruitment for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander posts. RPSC has announced 1015 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (AP/IB) and Platoon Commander under Rajasthan Police. This recruitment will fill a total of 1015 posts across cadres: 896 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP), 4 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP) Sanhariya, 25 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area, 26 posts of Sub-Inspector (IB) and 64 posts of Platoon Commander.
Eligibility Criteria RPSC SI Vacancy
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. In addition, candidates should have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthan’s culture. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit for RPSC SI Vacancy
The minimum age should be 20 years and the maximum 25 years as on 1 January 2026. As per government rules, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC categories. Candidates should read the notification for category-wise relaxations and other conditions.
RPSC SI Vacancy Physical Standards
Male candidates must have a minimum height of 166 cm and chest measurement of 81 cm unexpanded and 86 cm expanded. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm, and minimum weight of 47.5 kg. These are qualifying standards and candidates will also need to meet all medical fitness requirements at later stages.
Selection Process for RPSC SI Vacancy
The selection will comprise a written examination followed by Physical Efficiency/Measurement Tests and an interview. Performance across all stages, along with document verification and medical fitness, will determine final merit and appointment.
RPSC SI Vacancy Salary And Pay Level
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Matrix Level 11 with Grade Pay 4200. In addition to basic pay, allowances and other benefits will be admissible as per Rajasthan government norms applicable to the cadre.
Application Fee for RPSC SI Vacancy
General/EWS/OBC candidates will pay an application fee of Rs 600. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/MBC NCL candidates will pay Rs 400. The fee must be paid online through the specified modes before submission.
