The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the prestigious CSIR-UGC NET examination for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor posts, has released the much-awaited results for the June 2025 session. The exam was conducted in online mode on 28 July 2025 across multiple centres in India. This competitive exam, open to postgraduate candidates in science streams, is the gateway for research and teaching careers in Indian universities and research institutions. Applicants who had registered between 3 June and 26 June 2025 can now download their results and scorecards from the official portal using their login credentials.

For the NTA CSIR UGC NET June 2025, candidates with an M.Sc. or equivalent degree securing at least 55% marks (50% for SC, ST, and PH categories) are eligible, along with those holding integrated courses, B.E., B.Tech, B.Pharma, or MBBS degrees. The examination will cover subjects including Chemical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Science, Life Science, Mathematical Science, and Physical Science, and the selection of candidates will be based on an online examination.
