Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga, has officially released the Spot Admission Merit List for Undergraduate (UG) admissions for the 2025–29 session. The UG programs include B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com offered under the 4-year Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) structure. Earlier, the application window was open from 1st May 2025 to 24th May 2025, followed by the late fine period till 28th May 2025. Candidates who were not allotted a seat during the first merit list now have a chance through spot admissions. The merit list for spot admission was declared on 6th September 2025, and selected candidates can download their Selection Letter from 7th September 2025 onward.

For UG Arts and UG Commerce, candidates must have passed I.A./I.Sc./I.Com. or +2 from BSEB or equivalent boards. For UG Science, only I.Sc. or +2 Science stream candidates are eligible. The selection is purely based on merit, derived from marks secured in the qualifying exam. Allotment is done as per seat availability during the spot admission round.
