Candidates were required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India. For English Stenographer posts, proficiency in stenography at 80 WPM and typing at 40 WPM in English was mandatory. Additionally, working knowledge of computers and typing was essential. The selection process consisted of a written examination followed by a skill test (typing/shorthand). Final selection was based on merit as per performance in these stages.
