The Department of Post (India Post) has officially released the 6th Merit List for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) under the 2025 recruitment cycle. This recruitment drive aimed to fill a total of 21,413 vacancies across various states of India. The application process for India Post GDS 2025 was conducted from 10 February to 3 March 2025. Candidates who have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects were eligible to apply. The merit lists are prepared based on marks obtained in Class 10 examinations. The 6th merit list was published on 30 July 2025, and candidates whose names appear on this list must proceed with document verification as per the schedule provided by India Post.
Candidates must have passed Class 10 (High School) with Mathematics & English. A 60-day basic computer training certificate and knowledge of the local language (reading, writing, speaking) are mandatory.
