India Post GDS 5th Merit List 2025 Released – Check State-Wise Selection PDF

The Department of Post (India Post) has officially released the 5th Merit List for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2025, which was announced for a total of 21,413 posts across various postal circles in India. The applications for this massive recruitment drive were invited from 10 February 2025 to 03 March 2025, and candidates have since awaited merit list updates. With four merit lists already published, the 5th merit list was declared on 09 July 2025.

This recruitment process is entirely based on merit drawn from candidates’ Class 10th (Matriculation) marks without any examination. Candidates from states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and others can now check whether they’ve been shortlisted in this final round for document verification.

Step 1: Go to the official website of India Post GDS: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the “Shortlisted Candidates” or “Results” section.
Step 3: A list of states will appear—select your applied state (e.g., Bihar, Kerala, Tamil Nadu).
Step 4: Click on the PDF link corresponding to your state to download the 5th merit list.
Step 5: Open the downloaded PDF and use the Ctrl + F function to search your Registration Number or Name.
