HPSC ADO Recruitment 2025: 785 Vacancies Announced with Up to ₹1,12,400 in Salary
Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced a major recruitment drive for Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) posts under the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Haryana. A total of 785 vacancies have been released for this Group B (Administrative Cadre) post. Candidates with a B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture degree are eligible to apply. The online application process will begin on 5 August 2025 and will continue till 25 August 2025 (5 PM) on the official website hpsc.gov.in.

HPSC ADO Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Agriculture Development Officer post must have a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from a recognized university. Additionally, it is mandatory for candidates to have studied Hindi as a subject at the Matriculation, 10+2, BA, or MA level.
Age Limit for HPSC ADO
The minimum age required for this recruitment is 18 years, while the upper age limit is 42 years as on 1 July 2025. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation in the upper limit according to the rules prescribed by the Government of Haryana.
Application Fee to Apply to HPSC ADO
The application fee for this recruitment varies based on the candidate’s category. General and other candidates (DESM) are required to pay ₹1000. For candidates belonging to reserved categories such as OSC, DSC, BC-A & BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS, and women of Haryana including DESM, the application fee is ₹250. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) of Haryana are exempted from paying the fee.
