Bihar STET Result 2025 Declared, Candidates Can Now Check Scorecards Online

The Bihar School Examination Board has officially released the Bihar STET Result 2025 on its website. The result is for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test conducted on 14 October 2025. The application process for this examination had closed on 05 October 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results by logging into the official portal using their enrollment number, registration number, or date of birth. Bihar STET is conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions at the secondary and senior secondary levels in Bihar. The examination is held in two papers, Paper I for Class 9–10 teachers and Paper II for Class 11–12 teachers. The declaration of the result marks an important stage for candidates planning to apply for upcoming teacher recruitment drives in the state.

Important Dates For Bihar STET 2025

The online application process for Bihar STET 2025 began on 19 September 2025 and was extended till 05 October 2025. The last date for fee payment was also 05 October 2025. The examination was conducted on 14 October 2025, and admit cards were issued on 11 October 2025. The answer key was released on 24 November 2025. The Bihar STET Result 2025 has now been declared on 05 January 2026.

Application Fee Details

Candidates applying for either Paper I or Paper II were required to pay an application fee of ₹960 if they belonged to General, EWS, BC, EBC, or other state categories, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates paid ₹760. For candidates applying for both Paper I and Paper II, the fee was ₹1440 for General, EWS, BC, EBC, and other state candidates, and ₹1140 for SC, ST, and PWD categories. The fee payment was accepted through online modes including debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, and mobile wallet services.

Age Limit Criteria

As per the Bihar STET notification 2025, the minimum age required was 21 years as on 01 August 2025. The maximum age limit for male candidates was 37 years. For female candidates of unreserved category and BC/EBC categories, the upper age limit was 40 years. SC and ST candidates, both male and female, were allowed up to 42 years. Age relaxation was provided according to Bihar government norms.

Eligibility Criteria For Bihar STET 2025

For Secondary Teacher eligibility under Paper I for Classes 9 and 10, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks along with a B.Ed. degree. For Senior Secondary Teacher eligibility under Paper II for Classes 11 and 12, candidates need a Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least second division and a B.Ed. degree. For Computer Science subject, B.Ed. is not mandatory. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, EBC, BC, and Divyang categories were given a 5 percent relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

How To Check And Download Bihar STET Result 2025

Candidates should open their internet browser on a mobile phone or computer and visit the official Bihar School Examination Board website. On the homepage, they need to navigate to the STET, Results, or Latest Notifications section. After clicking on the Bihar STET Result 2025 link, a login page will open where candidates must enter their application number or roll number along with their date of birth. Once submitted, the result or scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and save the result and keep a printed copy for future use.

Mode Of Selection For Bihar STET 2025

The selection process for Bihar STET consists of a computer-based test. Candidates who qualify in the examination receive the STET eligibility certificate, which is required to apply for teacher recruitment vacancies notified by the Bihar government.
