Bihar BSEB DELED 3rd Selection List and Cutoff 2025-27 Released for Admission Session

The Bihar School Examination Board has officially released the third selection list along with the cutoff marks for the D.El.Ed admission session 2025–27. This selection list has been issued for candidates who appeared in the Combined Entrance Examination 2025 for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education course. Applicants can now check their selection status by logging into the official BSEB D.El.Ed admission portal using their enrollment number, registration number, or date of birth.

The D.El.Ed programme is a mandatory professional qualification for candidates aiming to become primary school teachers in Bihar. Admission to the 2025–27 session is being conducted through an entrance examination followed by counselling and multiple selection lists based on merit and seat availability. The release of the third selection list indicates that seats are still available in certain institutes, offering another opportunity to eligible candidates.

Important Dates For BSEB Bihar DELED 2025

The official notification for Bihar DELED 2025 was released on 11 January 2025. Online applications started the same day and closed on 05 February 2025, while the last date for fee payment was 06 February 2025. The dummy admit card was issued on 13 May 2025, with a correction window open from 13 to 17 May 2025. The entrance examination was conducted on 26 August 2025. The answer key was released between 11 and 13 October 2025, and the result was declared on 26 November 2025. Counselling began on 29 November 2025 and ended on 05 December 2025. The first selection list was released on 12 December 2025, the second on 22 December 2025, and the third selection list has now been made available on 02 January 2026.

Application Fee Details

Candidates from General, OBC, EWS, and UR categories were required to pay an application fee of ₹960. For SC, ST, and Divyang candidates, the fee was ₹760. The payment was accepted online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, and mobile wallet options.

Age Limit Criteria

As per the Bihar DELED notification 2025, the minimum age required for admission was 17 years as on 01 January 2025. There was no upper age limit specified for the D.El.Ed course. Age relaxation was applicable as per the norms set by the Bihar School Examination Board.

Educational Qualification For DELED Admission

Candidates applying for the Diploma in Elementary Education course must have passed the Intermediate or Class 12 examination from a recognized board. General and OBC candidates were required to secure at least 50 percent marks, while SC and ST candidates needed a minimum of 45 percent marks. Only candidates meeting the prescribed academic criteria were considered for the merit list and counselling process.

Candidates should open their internet browser on a mobile phone or computer and visit the official BSEB D.El.Ed admission portal. On the homepage, navigate to the Notifications or Selection List section. Click on the link for the “3rd Selection List / Merit List 2025-27.” The selection list will open in PDF format. Candidates can use the search option to locate their application number or roll number. After verifying their status, they should download and save the PDF and keep a printed copy for future reference.

Mode Of Selection For Bihar DELED 2025

The selection process for Bihar D.El.Ed admission consists of an online entrance examination followed by merit-based counselling. Seats are allotted based on entrance exam performance, category-wise cutoff marks, and availability of seats in participating institutes.
