Eligibility Criteria

Education

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Additional qualifications based on departments include:

• Engineering Departments: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech or equivalent
• Computer Science: B.Sc./BCA and M.Sc./MCA or equivalent
• Science Departments: Master’s Degree in relevant subject

Experience

• Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years after Ph.D. or 3 years of combined teaching/research
• Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years after Ph.D. or 6 years of total teaching/research experience

Salary

• Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2
• Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 60 years
• Relaxation as per Government of India rules

Education Qualification

• Technical Assistant: First Class in B.E./B.Tech./MCA/Diploma/Science Degree/Master’s Degree
• Senior/Junior Assistant, Technician, Lab/Office Attendant: 10+2 or equivalent; typing skills and ITI/Diploma as required per post

Salary

All posts carry pay as per 7th CPC Pay Levels:

• Level-6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Technical Assistant)
• Level-4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Senior Technician, Senior Assistant)
• Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Technician, Junior Assistant)
• Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Lab/Office Attendant)

Age Limit

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules
